You will serve a wide range of customers, from the beginning walker/runner, to the experienced athlete, and everything in between. Some of your customers may simply be looking for a comfortable shoe or the right pair of socks. You will be excited to connect with customers so they feel welcome, heard, and encouraged. It is your job to listen to the customer, analyze their needs, and fit them with the appropriate gear. You will share your extensive knowledge and personal experience surrounding product, training, and injury in an approachable way. You are expected to adapt to personalities, and go above and beyond to win customers over. During busy times, you are expected to help multiple customers, answer phone calls, and be aware of what’s happening in the store simultaneously. You will learn about product, training, and injury. You will continually hone your expertise as new research, products and technologies arise. When you work at Beyond Running, you are committed to being a true expert and providing sound advice.
