Beyond Running Shop Assistant  

 

Job Overview:  

At Beyond Running, we connect with people, share experiences and enhance lives by promoting an active lifestyle. We love talking to people about running, walking, or just getting off the couch. The Shop Assistant is responsible for keeping Beyond Running clean, organized, and looking like a store we are all proud of! You will be working with Running Sales Specialists to help keep our store looking good and running smoothly. The Shop Assistant is friendly, works well in a team environment, and likes being around people.  

 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

• Greeting customers 
• Ringing up sales 
• Answering the phone in a professional manner 
• Checking in and putting away inventory 
• Organizing the shoe room 
• Keeping the store neat, clean, and orderly 

 

Qualifications and Skills: 

• Good listener and effective communicator 
• Enthusiasm and a good attitude 
• Interest in running 
• Able to work 15-20 hours per week 

 

Hours/Availability:  

Availability must align with needs of the business, which may vary depending on season.  You will be required to work some weekends.  Shifts could include a combination of mornings, evenings, and weekends. We may ask additional availability around Fargo Marathon, Summer Street Fair, Black Friday/Small Business Saturday, special events, and Holiday weekends.  Willingness to go above and beyond when needed.
